About the Knit Geek
My name is Elizabeth (aka Lisa to friends and family). I am a mother to one adorable little preschool boy, and wife to a strapping German man. I love making clothes, even if I’m not entirely brilliant at it. I love knitting. The mindless knitting is soothing and lovely. I like to seek out unusual fabrics, and right now I am on a handbag kick. I sell some things via eBay auctions, and really enjoy bringing not so easy to find items to other crafters.
I have more knitting patterns than I will probably make, but I always ‘need’ more. It’s an addiction. The same goes for yarn. Just call me a ‘Yarn Ho’.
My greatest crafting fear is trying to make adult pants - I worry that I will completely botch it up. My specialties are skirts, handbags, and pajama bottoms. My son constantly gets new pjs.
I write dark, gothic poetry, play Final Fantasy video games, watch Sci-Fi and Fantasy movies, Brit-Coms, and love Sushi and German food. And I am above the age of 30. Woe is me….
